Long before modern skincare, cleansing was a ritual of earth and water. In the bathhouses of the ancient Mediterranean, volcanic sand, clay, and plant oils were used to purify the skin and restore balance after heat, sweat, and long days beneath the sun. Ground minerals from volcanic landscapes gently renewed the body, while oils softened and protected the skin.

This face and body scrub is enriched with volcanic sand, known since antiquity for its refining and detoxifying touch, and castor and sunflower oils, used in Roman and Greek baths to soften the skin after exfoliation. Fruit extracts and gentle acids echo the natural preparations once made from berries, plants, and fermented waters. The ritual was never rushed. Exfoliation was followed by stillness, oil, and rest. • How to use: Massage gently onto damp skin using slow, circular movements.
